MARYLAND TERRAPINS

As an officially licensed artist for the University of Maryland Terrapins, I am inspired by the rich traditions and spirited history of this esteemed institution. The diamondback terrapin, a species of turtle native to Maryland’s coastal regions, serves as a unique and fitting mascot, embodying resilience and determination. Iconic customs such as the “Maryland Fight Song” and the jubilant “Fifth Quarter” performances by the Mighty Sound of Maryland band exemplify the unity and enthusiasm that define the Terrapin spirit.
In my artistic process, I apply and remove layers of paint, striving to achieve harmony and balance in each piece. I infuse my work with the energy and passion that characterize Terrapin fans, knowing that my art will become part of homes where families gather to celebrate their shared love for Maryland athletics. It is an honor to contribute to the legacy of the University of Maryland, capturing the essence of Testudo and the vibrant community he represents.
