As an officially licensed artist with Indiana University, I am honored to celebrate the rich history, enduring traditions, and indomitable spirit of the Hoosiers in my work. The Hoosier spirit is often described as a sense of pride, resilience, and togetherness—a unique energy that can be felt throughout the campus and across the state. The mystery of the term “Hoosier” only adds to its charm, but what is clear is the unshakable connection it creates among students, alumni, and fans. Whether it’s celebrating recent successes like the football team’s stellar 2024 season or honoring beloved traditions such as Martha the Mop Lady, my work seeks to capture the vibrant legacy and cultural heartbeat of Indiana University.

My creative process mirrors the essence of Indiana: purposeful, layered, and dynamic. When I paint, I apply and remove paint, searching for a harmony that evokes the same energy and presence found in the Hoosier community.
