The Duck, formerly known as Puddles and famously inspired by Donald Duck, embodies the fun, spirited, and creative energy of Oregon fans. From legendary moments on the field to unforgettable traditions like The Duck’s push-ups or dramatic motorcycle entrances, the University of Oregon’s culture is filled with excitement and enthusiasm. My journey as an artist began in 1989, inspired by the creativity and energy I experienced while working in the Walt Disney World College Program. It’s an honor to now bring that same sense of magic and celebration to my work for the Ducks.

When I paint, I strive to capture the energy and harmony that defines the University of Oregon experience. My process involves layering paint on and taking it off, searching for a balance that reflects the passion, pride, and joy of Duck fans.
