CUSTOM COMMISSION
TIME - A painting from initial meeting to a finished piece can take just a few short weeks or months. It all depends on your vision and size. The way I create my art is I push paint on, and pull paint off, until there is a harmony. I will never be able to meet another person's vision but I can agree to subject matter and maybe get close. I can not recreate another painting you have possibly seen of mine. If you are open to me creating a painting just for you, an experience of the art revealing itself while aiming for a target of what you want, let's have a chat.
COST - After 20 years of professional work, the cost of an original painting is generally $3.50 - $4.00 per square inch. To calculate an estimate, take the height, multiply it by the width and then multiply that figure by $3.50 or $4. That will give a rough estimate of the cost from start to finish. I am always open to talking about needs, size and any discounting for multiple paintings.
